Monday evening trip to Maine Road , home of Maine Road FC nice little ground this one, actually expected it to be called off after the tropical down pour but pitch looked in great condition so well done to those concerned. Game itself was a fantastic advertisement for the NWCFL , end to end stuff and at one point it looked as though AFC were gonna run away with it , but with 2 penalties conceded Maine Road pulled themselves back into the game going in 2-2 at half-time.
2nd half was just as good as the 1st with AFC going back into the lead early on, no goals after that but both sides had chances, all round a great game to watch. Programme not bad for this level , coffee was damn poor but wet....and happy happy i got a club badge.
