Close game result wise but to be honest Hyde would never have scored if they played all day and night , plenty of attacks but woeful finishing, Oxford took the early lead from a great free kick but also had a man sent off on 30 mins after a very rash tackle, after that Oxford were quite happy to defend the 1-nil lead. 2nd half was pressure via Hyde and defending via Oxford. Going to be a difficult season again for Hyde if they dont find their scoring boots , not the best of games but first game of the season for both.
Enjoyed the visit to Ewen Fields , although you would of mistaken it for Manchester Citeh Under 21 ground ;) oh it is ..........
